Very quick turn-around from order to delivery, packaging is fully protective and perfect, and customer service is A1. JJ's Vinyl offer album titles which are hard to source elsewhere. I'm so happy I stumbled across JJ's Vinyl from an ad on Facebook! I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend Jamie and the team at JJ's Vinyl.

Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers A Night In Tunisia 180g LP

Art Blakey was, without doubt, one of the most explosive and rock-solid swinging drummers of all time. He was also one of the finest bandleaders and discoverers of new talent jazz has ever known. Released in the late-50s, A Night In Tunisia is a jazz milestone and prime example of Blakey's exceptional rhythmic prowess. This album is not all about drumming though; it leaves much space for great melodical interplay by fellow musicians Sam Dockery on piano, John Griffin and Ferris Bendaon saxophone, Bill Hardman on trumpet and Jimmy De Brest on double bass. It's the group's outstanding version of the Dizzy Gillespie evergreen “A Night in Tunisia,” which gives the set its name and is worth the price of admission alone!

Musicians:
Art Blakey (drums)
Sam Dockery (piano)
John Griffin (tenor saxophone)
Ferris Benda (alto saxophone)
Bill Hardman (trumpet)
Jimmy De Brest (double bass)
