Colored 180g Vinyl Pressing Remastered at Abbey Road with Half-Speed Mastering Process

As a leading icon of the British music revolution of the 1960s, Pete Townshend made his name by creating the power chord, smashing guitars onstage, and penning anthems of teenage rebellion like "My Generation." However, towards the end of the '60s Pete became a follower of the Indian avatar Meher Baba which inspired him to release a handful of devotional albums and a series of non-Who related solo records throughout the '70s, 80s and early-90s. 1982 found Pete newly sober and pairing up with Empty Glass producer Chris Thomas once again for the transitional new wave-influenced art record All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes, a creative and compelling collection which finds him experimenting with synthesizers, angular arrangements and drum machines.
