Pink Floyd - Obscured By Clouds (180g Vinyl LP)

Pink Floyd catalog back on vinyl, first time in two decades!

180-gram vinyl pressing

Mastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman

This September 2016, Pink Floyd are set to continue reintroduction of their back catalogue on vinyl with Atom Heart Mother, Meddle and Obscured By Clouds all remastered from the original analog master tapes. Previous reintroductions The Wall and The Division Bell are also back in stock on vinyl.

Pink Floyd's seventh album Obscured By Clouds was originally recorded as the soundtrack to the French film ‘La Vallée' but released as a stand alone album in 1972.

"...the real noteworthy numbers are the surprisingly heavy blues-rocker 'The Gold It's in The...,' which, as good as it is, is trumped by the stately, ominous 'Childhood's End' and the jaunty pop tune 'Free Four,' two songs whose obsessions with life, death, and the past clearly point toward Dark Side of the Moon. ('Childhood's End' also suggests Dark Side in its tone and arrangement.)" — AllMusic
