Christmas has come all at once. Thank you Jamie for my records which arrived today. Very quick turn-around from order to delivery, packaging is fully protective and perfect, and customer service is A1. JJ's Vinyl offer album titles which are hard to source elsewhere. I'm so happy I stumbled across JJ's Vinyl from an ad on Facebook! I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend Jamie and the team at JJ's Vinyl.

Sublime - Stand By Your Van

1998 Live Compilation Remastered & Making Its Vinyl Debut!

Originally issued in 1998, Stand By Your Van is the second compilation of material from the Sublime camp released in the wake of their frontman's tragic death from a heroin overdose in May 1999. Recorded in the mid-90s, the energetic eleven-track offering features raw and loose live versions of definitive catalog tracks like "Date Rape," "Badfish," "Caress Me Down," and "Don't Push" from the band's first two albums 40oz. to Freedom (1992) and Robbin' the Hood(1994).

"The singular sound of Sublime, alternately polished and rough and ready, finds stoner rock, rap, punk, and hip-hop funk blended with doses of ska, rock steady, dancehall, and every other pungent flavor of reggae. The result was a beautiful, warts-and-all brand of poetry - a powerful new blend of street sounds and party music. In Nowell, Sublime had as astounding singer and lyricist who created his own edgy but expressive underground vernacular. And in Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, Sublime was fortunate to have an agile, rock-solid rhythm section that could cover the entire musical waterfront." - David Wild
